Doctor Seema Das attended both undergraduate and graduate school at NYIT of Long Island where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Life Science and with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has been practicing physical therapy both in NY and NJ for the last 10 years honing her clinical skills, especially in the area of outpatient orthopedics. Seema’s primary goal as a physical therapist is to take an individual approach to each of her cases, which has brought her much success as a sought-after clinician in the area. She relies heavily on her advanced manual skills as she addresses each patient’s needs and then creates a specific, goal-oriented program to help them return to their previous level.
Seema is a disciple of the McKenzie method, the world-renowned and proven method to treat the ever-challenging pathologies of the human spine. This includes treating for disc bulging, disc herniations, muscle strains, ligament sprains, facet joint dysfunction, and so many other cervical / thoracic / lumbar deficiencies. She has taken all of the advanced McKenzie training courses and plans to sit for her certification in the near future. This arduous path to achieve her McKenzie certification is a reflection of her dedication to the profession and her ongoing pursuit to advancing her skills to best treat the wide variety of patients she encounters.
